We are so excited to see you at the National Symphony Orchestra Chamber Concert at the National Bonsai & Penjing Museum! Here are a few directions to help make your visit comfortable.
When: Saturday, June 1st - The concert will begin right at 1pm and will end at 2pm. Because of this, you will want to arrive at the Museum at least 15 minutes before this so as to ensure a good viewing/hearing spot.
Where: Please arrive through the R Street Entrance and make your way through the Welcome Center, out through the courtyard, down the stairs and through the gate of the Museum. Directions can be found at this link. Parking near the R Street entrance is ample, but the Arboretum will be buzzing this weekend, so please plan accordingly to get there in time to find a spot in the lot.
Accessibility: There is handicap parking available right outside the Welcome Center and the Museum is wheelchair accessible.
Comforts: Restrooms are located within the Welcome Center (not in the Museum) so you may want to visit them before you enter the Museum. While food is not permitted, we do encourage you to bring a water bottle.
Bring: Please dress for the weather as the concert is outdoors. If it rains (which is not expected), we will move to the indoor pavilion within the Museum.
Thank you so much! We look forward to seeing you soon and hope to see you at another upcoming event at the Museum soon.
