During World Bonsai Day, Chuck Croft was recognized as the 2016 Janet Lanman volunteer of the year. Chuck is from Burke, Virginia and has been a volunteer for over 10 years. He has been doing bonsai for many years and is also past President of the Potomac Bonsai Association. We are grateful for Chuck’s dedication to the bonsai museum and look forward to his continued support. It is people like Chuck that make the museum such a beautiful place for everyone who visits.
The Janet Lanman Volunteer of the Year award was established in 2002 to honor and recognize the museum’s outstanding volunteers. Janet Lanman was the first honoree. With 20 years of dedicated volunteering service, Janet set the standard by which all subsequent honorees are measured.
